Hello from New England Region WOCN

Members of the New England Region of the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society:

Fall is fast approaching and that means we will once again gather together for the New England Region of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society Fall Conference.Our theme this year is “STANDING STRONG TOGETHER.” We have a great agenda planned. Please register through our website. The deadline for the early bird registration fee is September 14th. It will be held at a new location this year, The Manchester Downtown Hotel in Manchester NH. The hotel is $154.00 per night if reserved prior to September 19th or until the room block is full. If you need a room, please reserve soon.

We will have a Vendor Hall BINGO game this year. One attendee will win an Apple Watch!!


Irene Beaman, our Historian, is requesting items for the regions Historical Display Table at conference.Please email Irene if you have magazines, newsletters, cards, letters, pictures, or other items that would be of interest regarding our history.

Our national organization, has launched our Fund the Future campaign to grow the specialty of WOC nursing. Please visit their website for details:

They are holding a contest among the Regions and Affiliates from August 27th through November 5th. The member with the highest individual donation (from any Region or Affiliate) will receive a free year membership and  also will receive the WOCN Clinical Practice Guideline Series for free (a $99 value!).Please visit the website for more information.
