Presidents Message Jan 2019

Members of the New England Region of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society:

Our conference in October was very successful. It was great to see everyone. The venue at the Doubletree by Hilton Manchester Downtown was newly remodeled in the center of Manchester close to shops and restaurants.  We will hold our 2019 New England Region WOC Nurses Society conference at the same location.

Please Save the Dates:  Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th, 2019.

The Education Committee is looking for ideas for speakers and topics.  If you know of a great speaker or have ideas for a topic that interests you, please contact Cherie Sapia, Education Committee chair,

Our national organization will hold conference June 23-26, 2019.  WOCNext will be held at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN.  Registration is open now:  The New

England Region WOCN will have a table in the vendor hall this year. Please visit us if you are attending.  We will be asking for volunteers to staff our table during vendor hall hours. Please contact me if you are interested in helping.

You should have received an email from WOCN this week with your voting ballot for the 2019 WOCN Society’s Annual Election. Please exercise your right to vote.  New England Region Member, Diane Bryant, is running for re-election for Director. Please cast your vote for Diane.
